They went to Glenmore Arms A and started the better, winning the first set 3-2, which included a break and dish by Ben McIntosh in frame three.

Glenmore pulled it back in the second set despite a 7-baller from Craig Jones to tie the score at 5 all.

Alex Thompson put Glenmore ahead with his third frame win of the night then Shane O'Reilly levelled it again with his third before the Nuthouse pulled away winning the next three frames, including another 7-baller from Jones for his three out of three, to win the match 9-6.

This win took them above closest rivals, Rileys Rovers by two points, who this week succumbed to an 11-4 loss against Rileys Woolwich.

Woolwich were in awesome form, starting with a dish from a dry break by Tony Halpin, and then Kevin England should have won the next frame for Rovers but went in off on the black.

Woolwich won the next frame, then Steven Reed pulled one back for Rovers with an outstanding pot on his final yellow that set him up with a long black to finish the frame.

The next six frames went to Woolwich, including a break and dish from Halpin to secure an unassailable 9-1 lead then they must have took their foot off the gas as Rovers won the last set 3-2 to make the final score 11-4.

Craig Mallinder and Clive Black were the stars of the show for Woolwich, each winning all three of their frames.

Woolwich stay in second, twelve points behind league leaders O'Connors, who beat North Heath Social Club by 12 frames to 3.

It was a lesson in how to clear up as O'Connors punished all of North Heath's mistakes.

Third played fourth as Bellegrove Social Club A took on the Pickwick and it was a tight match going into the final set, with both teams having won a set 3-2 but Bellegrove turned it on in the final set taking all five frames for a 10-5 victory.

Ash Hall was Pickwick's prize player, performing a break and dish and Shane Hutley shone for Bellegrove, also producing a break and dish as well as a dish from a dry break in his three frame wins.

Rileys Rebels picked up a valuable 9-6 victory against Foots Cray Social Club to close the gap on Glenmore A to just six points.

Foots Cray won the first set 3-2 but Rebels returned the compliment in the second before marching on to a 4-1 victory in the final set.

Debutant, Paul Elford played well to win both his frames and Trevor Biggs secured his two out of two with a break and dish in the fourteenth frame that sealed the victory for his side but Scott Shephard's three out of three wasn't enough to stop his team from losing.

SLKPA's Division One league leaders New Eltham Rack Pack struggled against a rejuvenated Royal Oak Addicks but still sneaked an 8-7 victory.

Chris Unwin, Tony Frost and Miro Cujic secured the first set and it was just as well as Stephen Unwin lost his frame and after outmanoeuvring his opponent, Jim Woodbridge potted the black and white to finish the set 3-2 in Rack Pack's favour.

The second set was evenly matched but Woodbridge secured it by sinking the black in the fifth frame and keeping the cue ball on the table this time, for another 3-2 win.

The last set was going way of the Addicks but Rack Pack were 7-6 up when Stephen Unwin stepped up for the penultimate frame and it was a classic frame from the skipper, where nobody could tell who was going to win until the black went down.

Fortunately, it was the Captain who cut the black in to secure the victory, before Michael Kent, who was playing well all night for the Addicks, won the final frame.

Also in great form was Tony Frost, who won all three of his frames for the third week in a row and he was joined by Addicks' Adam Newbrook.

O'Dowds B stay in second after a 9-6 win over Glenmore Arms II and are now three points behind the leaders.

Glenmore's Captain, Jason Brunton led from the front, winning all three of his frames, as did O'Dowds' Richard Chapman, who was backed up by Dave Mitchell, who had two wins.

Fortunes weren't as great for O'Dowds A, who were narrowly beaten 8-7 by Pickwick Academicals.

O'Dowds won the first frame but Academicals won the next six, giving their opponents a mountain to climb, which they almost did as they won five of the last six frames.

Despite the win, Academicals stay sixth but they do have a game in hand.

White Hart hauled themselves away from the bottom two and became the eighth team in the division to go over 100 points, with a 13-2 victory over Fox under the Hill.

Bellegrove Social Club B join their opponents, the Summerfield on 115 points but go above them into third as a result of this 9-6 win over them.
