AMATEUR U18 football teams in the News Shopper region are being invited to take part in a national competition to win a £3,000 pitch makeover.
Pitch to Win are on the lookout for the worst playing surface in the UK and organisers Briggs & Stratton are calling on all U18 amateur footballers, both girls and boys, to nominate their pitch if they think it is in drastic need of improvement.
The winning team will not only receive a new pitch but also sponsorship throughout the 2014/2015 season, as well as a new kit.
Runners-up will win a £500 boost for the club kitty, as well as sponsorship and a new strip.
The deadline to enter your team is March 28.
