JOHN Berylson has flatly rejected rumours Millwall are on the brink of being taken over by a consortium led by one-time QPR chairman Gianni Paladini.
Reports claimed the Lions were about to be sold, ending Mr Berylson’s seven years in charge at The Den.
However, the claims have bewildered the American, who has denied they have any foundation.
Mr Berylson said: “I have absolutely no interest in selling Millwall to Mr Paladini, who I have never even met nor have any intention of meeting, or anyone else.
“I am as committed to this club as ever, and having just brought in Ian Holloway as our new manager I am very excited about the future.
“Ollie has pledged his future to Millwall for the next two and half years and hopefully beyond.
“I fully intend to be with him every step of the way.”
