ALL Star emerged victorious for the first time in the fifth Bexley girls’ indoor cricket contest at Erith Leisure Centre.
The invitational side were battling it out with Bexley CC and Sidcup CC for the prize and the final outcome went down to the last few balls of the last match, with only two points separating the three teams.
This competition forms part of the selection process to find a girls team to represent the borough at the London Youth Games’ indoor cricket competition, which Bexley won in 2010 and finished runners-up in 2011 at Lord’s.
