RYAN Hall is back at Conference South leaders Bromley after being released by Leeds United.

The 25-year-old midfielder began his career as a trainee with Crystal Palace but spent two years with Bromley after being released by the Eagles in 2008.

Hall then went on to join Southend United before landing a dream move to Elland Road in 2012, initially on loan and then on a two-and-a-half-year permanent contract.

However, that deal was torn up by the Yorkshire side last month following controversial comments by the player on his Twitter account.

And now free agent Hall, who can’t sign for another Football League side until January, has agreed to return to Hayes Lane on a short-term basis to help Mark Goldberg’s side cement their place at the top of the Conference South table.

Hall said: “I'm delighted to meet up and play under Mark Goldberg again, I really enjoyed my two seasons at Hayes Lane.

“I will always appreciate what Mark and Bromley FC did for me.

“I'm more than willing to repay their faith in me.”

Lillywhites chief Goldberg added: “We don’t have the budget to expand our squad, bring in luxury players and we don't want to start disrupting our squad.

“But the fact Ryan Hall is prepared to play for the club at no cost as a thank you for the support we gave him back in the day is an incredible gesture and an offer we couldn’t refuse.”

Hall is expected to go straight into the team for tomorrow’s Hayes Lane encounter with Farnborough (3pm).
