MILLWALL manager Steve Lomas has not had any approach from Swindon Town for Dany N’Guessan – yet.

The League One side were linked this week with the Frenchman, who isn’t exactly flavour of the month with Lions fans following his reaction to being substituted by former boss Kenny Jackett against Crystal Palace late last season.

Lomas has already made clear N’Guessan starts life under his managership with a clean slate but he wasn’t in the match squad for the opening day defeat against Yeovil and was an unused sub against Wimbledon on Tuesday night.

And although the Den boss confirmed he hasn’t heard anything from the Wiltshire side yet, he didn’t exactly deny N’Guessan and others could be on their way sooner rather than later when asked by News Shopper this morning.

Lomas replied: “We haven’t had any contact from Swindon so maybe it is just pure speculation, but somewhere down the line we will have to do something with people leaving.

“But as we stand who, when and if – we don’t really know the answer to that yet.”

Lomas also hinted Andy Marshall is close to coming in on a short-term basis as cover for Stephen Bywater following David Forde’s injury “Maybe, the boss said.

“Andy is available, he is a very experienced goalkeeper and has been in here training so he is definitely an option.”
