IT’S the British title or bust for Swanley’s southern area light-heavyweight champion Leon Senior this week.

The 32-year-old can take another huge step towards his Lonsdale belt target when he takes on Egidijus Kakstys at the quest for honour and glory show at the Camden Centre on Friday night.

And the Swanley ace believes his ring career has reached a crucial point.

Senior said: “I’m going to give it my all.

“I want to move on to the next level.

“If I’m not good enough to reach British title level now, I never will be.”

The British championship is currently vacant.

Dean Francis and Courtney Fry meet in an eliminator in October and Bob Ajisafe is also in contention.

Senior has been ordered to defend his title against Dan Woodgate and said: “If I can beat him I will be right up there.

“I could be only two or three wins away from a British-title fight.”

Senior is currently in terrific form and is unbeaten in five fights since returning to the ring in May2012 after a four-year break from the sport.

He added: “I’m confident in my ability.

“I’m not a massive puncher, but I have the boxing ability and the fitness is definitely there.”
