KENNY Jackett says Dany N’Guessan’s Millwall future will be decided next week once the Championship campaign is over.

The Frenchman, who has a year left to run on his current deal, came off the bench in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace to replace Shaun Batt, only to find himself hauled off 14 minutes later after a lacklustre display.

N’Guessan was clearly annoyed with the decision, slowly walking to the touchline before Liam Trotter could come on, a reaction which angered Millwall fans watching on in the stands.

Manager Jackett told News Shopper this morning: “I have spoken to Dany since Tuesday.

“He was disappointed with being substituted. I didn’t think it worked out and I had to make a decision.

“We’ve been fine and between us we’ve spoke about the situation.

“He is feeling his knee slightly still, which he has been feeling for some weeks and he needs to get that right.

“After that what we’ve both agreed to do is assess the situation next week when our season has ended.”
