CRYSTAL Palace striker Jermaine Easter has made the short trip across south-east London to join Millwall on loan.

The 31-year-old, who will formally sign tomorrow, will remain at The Den until the end of the season and could feature in Saturday’s visit to Charlton.

This will be Easter’s second loan stint with the Lions having previously been signed by Kenny Jackett on a short-term basis from Plymouth in September 2008.

Easter scored one goal in six appearances for Millwall back then before moving on to Colchester in another loan move.

However, he will probably be best known to Lions supporters as the man who scored the winning goal for Crystal Palace at The Den in a rare 1-0 Eagles victory at The Den on New Year’s Eve 2011.
