Roe edges closer to national boxing success

A KEMNAL Technology student is through to national schoolboys’ boxing finals in Liverpool on March 2.
Jimmy Roe, 13, defeated eastern counties champion Alan Gilbertons on Saturday in Portsmouth in the 54kg category semi-final to book his final spot.
Roe will now face Joseph Burnside (Birtley) and the winner will become an England representative in the forthcoming Three Nations event.
