THIRTEEN Dartford Harriers made the trip to Parliament Hill Fields in Hampstead Heath for the rearranged south of England cross country championships.
Kent cross country champion Holly Page led from the start in the U13 girls’ race and pulled away from her main rivals on the final downhill finish to win by an eight-second margin.
She was well supported by Jessica Sellor in 36th and Chloe Sharp in 47th.
Rebecca Burford (179th) ensured the U13 Harriers team took 11th place overall.
Other results from Dartford Harriers were: Rowan Burford (201st in the U13 boys); Lewis Caiels (111th in U15 boys); Alex Cameron (99th) and Connor Burford (143rd) in the U17 men’s race; Cassie Benson (83rd in U17 women’s); Rebecca Wilby (49th in the U20 women’s).
In the senior women’s race Hayley Hickmott cam 164th out of 256 finishers.
There were 541 finishers in the senior men’s contest, with Jay Browne 260th and Reuben Burford 336th.
