CHARLTON boss Chris Powell says he is unaware of reports claiming the Addicks were preparing to snap up former Swindon Town forward Thomas Dossevi.
The Togo international is a free agent after leaving Chonburi in Thailand and was linked with a move to SE7 earlier this week.
But the Valley chief admitted the story was news to him when quizzed upon it this morning.
“Was he at Swindon?” responded Powell.
“I’ve said it before and been on record before - we are not in a position to bring players in unless one or two move on.
“That’s been well-documented by me.
“I’m happy with the squad with the players that are here.
“There was going to be movement a couple of weeks back but that fell through, so at the moment I’m very happy with the players I have got here.
“I feel they are capable of winning games and getting us points.
“But of course if you’re in a position to move players and bring in players that will enhance you, then you will always look to do that.”
