Chis & Sid book Canterbury finals spot

CHISLEHURST & Sidcup Grammar School’s U15 girls’ indoor cricket team won the north Kent qualifying group at Hayes School on Monday to qualify for March’s county finals at Canterbury.

They saw off the challenge of Bromley High, Hayes School, Leigh Technical College and Townley Grammar School by winning all their games in the round-robin format, even though some of the matches were close run affairs.

Chis & Sid’s team have been together for several years and grown into a very useful outfit, with most of the team playing regular club cricket during the summer.
