MILLWALL manager Kenny Jackett admits he is unsure whether neighbours Charlton will try again to sign Dany N’Guessan once the loan window reopens.

The Addicks enquired about the possibility of bringing one-time Charlton loanee N’Guessan back to The Valley last week but the move failed to materialise before the January transfer window shut.

Chris Powell has the option of going back in for the French attacker tomorrow when clubs are once again allowed to make loan signings, although Jackett is none the wiser at this stage whether his opposite number in SE7 will choose to do so.

The Lions boss said: “I got a call from Charlton on deadline day that they were interested but I’ve had nothing further.

“I don’t know whether their interest has gone away or not.

“The window opens tomorrow so I really don’t know whether they will be back in contact.

“You can never have enough centre forwards and we have to make sure we are not short.”
