ARSENAL Ladies star Gilly Flaherty is set to lead a girls’ football scholarship course in Hayes for youngsters aged from 16 to 18.
And organisers ProInfinity Coaching are on the lookout for recruits later this month, with half-term trials set to take place for potential students.
The course combines a full-time two-year BTEC in sport with academy training as part of a scholarship squad, which will be led by Flaherty.
All course work will be delivered at the Warren MP Sports Club training centre in Hayes.
Students will attend the Warren daily to study the BTEC course via an online education portal and take part in the elite football training programme.
Scholars will also undertake their FA Level One coaching course onsite and have the opportunity to complete work experience in schools as part of the PE support programme.
Girls will also take part in league fixtures in the English Colleges FA and Academy fixture programme to ensure regular fixtures throughout the course.
