SIMON Church is now unlikely to join Millwall in this month’s transfer window, according to boss Kenny Jackett.
The Millwall manager hasn’t rule out the possibility of more transfer activity in January having already drafted in Martyn Woolford and Nathan Tyson.
But Jackett feels it is now unlikely Reading striker Church will be making the move to The Den.
He said: “We are always looking to improve but our side have been really settled.
“It will only really go on performances and if we feel as we go along that we do need to improve then I will do that.
“Simon Church is very similar to Andy Keogh but he is available and somebody we have looked at.
“But I don’t think it is something that is likely to happen in this window.”
