WESTCOMBE Park came away with a 30-9 success from their first ever trip to Guernsey on Saturday.
They were made to work hard for the win though, as Guernsey were a handful up front and once settled were strong in defence.
Combe scored tries through Trent Nattrass, Ben Hough, and Chris Lewis.
Luke Giles did not miss a kick and finished with three conversions and five penalties.
Combe’s own defence held firm and although ahead throughout the game, it was only into the last quarter that they stretched away to a more comfortable lead.
