BECKENHAM welterweight champion Chas Symonds is set to defend his southern area title against Bradley Skeete at the Excel Centre next month.
Symonds will make his second defence against the highly-rated Skeete as part of a top bill at the Excel on December 15, which also includes a world lightweight title fight between Ricky Burns and current European champion Liam Walsh.
And the Beckenham ace is confident he will retain his crown on the big day.
Symonds said: “This is a fight we can win.
“I have put 100 percent into my training and in the best shape of my boxing life.
“ A win for will take me and Team Symonds on to greater things.”
The bill also features Commonwealth super-middleweight champion George Groves against Glen Johnson and Billy Joe Saunders defending his Commonwealth middleweight title against Nick Blackwell.
Tickets cost £50 and can be purchased directly on twitter @chassymonds or via the Chas Symonds Ticket Line on 07572 174217.
