BECKENHAM Swimming Club’s boys 400m medley relay team has qualified for the national swimming championships in Sheffield for the second year running.

The team, who were competing in the 11 to 14 age category, booked their place at the London region BAGCAT championships at the recently re-opened Crystal Palace swimming pool in last month.

Marlon Gasparotto, James Allan, Henry Knight and Robert Deane finished in a time of 4m34.80s.

The team will be aiming to replicate their success on the national stage when they travel to Sheffield later this month.
