THE BROMLEY (LOADING PLACES) ORDER 2009
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The general effect of the Order would be to revoke the Bromley (Loading Bays) (Time Restricted) Order 1996 and all of its amending and applying Orders and re-enact the provisions of those Orders in a new Order which would include provisions to allow only vehicles that are being used for loading and unloading purposes to use the loading places during the operating hours.

The new Order would not change the locations of the existing loading places, which are situated in the streets listed in the Schedule to this Notice, their operating hours or any time limits.

A copy of the proposed Order, of the Orders that would be revoked and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order, or make any other representations in respect of it should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to the Director of Environment at the address shown below by 28th October 2009, quoting the reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/535.

Chislehurst - High Street.
Orpington - Crofton Road, High Street and White Hart Road.
Penge - Cottingham Road, High Street, Kingsdale Road and Maple Road.
Petts Wood - Queensway.
