I write regarding parking charges going up in the car park outside Sainsbury's at the Priory Centre in Dartford. We have a small shop in the market place, and trade has dropped by 50 to 75 per cent since price rises.

I think if it carries on then a lot of businesses will be forced to close.

We have traded there since 2003 and have seen a massive drop in turnover, this was before the car park rises. To be honest it has put another nail in our coffins.

Hopefully Sainsbury's might be able to do something.
