Each week when I look at the sport page of the Lewisham and Catford News Shopper, I am disappointed at the amount of coverage Millwall receives compared to that given to Charlton. Take the January 11 edition for example.
Both teams played cup ties on January 7 and while the Charlton match received two lengthy articles the Millwall tie didn't even get a mention. This bias is all the more surprising considering Millwall is the only league team in Lewisham.
The January 18 edition wasn't much better with Charlton getting their usual two reports, and to add insult to injury, the small article on Kenny Jacket, the Millwall manager, had a picture of a Charlton shirt in it (Jackett Steps Up Striker Search).
I can only assume your sports writers are all Charlton fans and are only interested in reporting Charlton news.

You are wrong about there being a bias towards Charlton. Although the paper is called the Lewisham & Catford News Shopper, the sports page carries over to Greenwich as well so they are both the same.
To clarify why there was less coverage of Millwall’s FA Cup game at Dagenham compared to Charlton’s at Fulham it is quite simple - we had nobody at Dagenham to cover that game.
As for the January 18 edition, the picture of the player with the Charlton shirt was of Danny Haynes. The article was about Kenny's reaction to Millwall being rejected by Haynes in favour of Charlton.
