I would like to inform readers about the conservation and protection of dolphins.
In mid-October, the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific captured a number of wild Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, 28 of which were flown to the Palm Atlantis resort in Dubai.
In 2003, the Solomon Islands Government had captured around 80 dolphins and a number were flown to a facility in Cancun, Mexico.
The Government has stated it may catch around 100 dolphins each year for sale into a life of slavery in foreign dolphinariums.
There is an online petition at petitiononline.
com/CETACEA1/petition.html which calls for a holiday and product boycott of the Solomans.
