Why not kill cats while you’re at it?

I REGRET to inform readers that Mr Walters' letter (Wild Animals Cause Trouble, Letters, November 29) just confirms to me that he has completely lost the plot and seems to still condemn our poor foxes to death.

In his first letter, he stated that foxes had killed six peacocks that used to walk the grounds of Stone Palace in Scotland.

He goes on to state that steps should be taken to ensure fox numbers are controlled - a polite way to say kill them off.

My question to him was, what about so-called humans that shoot our birds for fun?

What about our domestic cats that kill birds?

Should their numbers be "controlled" as well?

Let us have your intelligent answer.
