I was amazed to read about Clive Efford's new-found enthusiasm for developing the Coronet Cinema (News Shopper, June 14).
Could this be the same Labour MP who has repeatedly intervened to block plans?
Because of his actions we are now faced with the prospect of a drawn-out public inquiry.
People in Eltham will not be fooled. The truth is with a Labour Council, Labour MP and Labour Government, all we get here are empty promises.
