WALK around any residential area before Christmas and you’ll probably find at a least a couple of show-offs whose houses are so brightly lit and elaborately decorated that even Clark Griswald would be jealous.

Do you think extravagant outdoor displays are a delight to see or are you someone who says “bah humbug” and thinks they’re an eyesore?

Have you ever gone crazy decorating your own home for Christmas or got into a rivalry with neighbours over who has the best display?

Would you want to live near to a house decorated the same as in the picture above?

Add your comments below – and also email us if you’ve taken pictures of any examples of festive flamboyance this year.

For your viewing pleasure, here are two more houses which have really been lit up this year.

This first one is from Pete Turner who has decorated the outside of his house in Pickford Road, Bexleyheath. Pete said: "Everyone loves it…..I think!"

And this second one is from Bishop Jonathan Blake in Danson Crescent, Welling, who's gone Christmas crazy for the 11th year to raise money for Save the Children.

News Shopper: Burning Questions

After today Burning Questions is taking a little break to rest and recharge over Christmas, plus to have a few sherries with its mates Flaming Problems and Blazing Discussions.

But it will be back in the New Year with more goodies to do with bed and bathroom habits, bread, biscuits and boxers.

Meanwhile, if there’s a daft argument you’re often having with friends and workmates or a silly little question that’s always puzzled you, get in touch and maybe we’ll put it out there to see if collective knowledge can settle it.
