I am a pensioner on a restricted income who wants to keep as fit as I can. I became a member of Downham Fitness Centre run for Lewisham by Harpers. For a while now I have been paying £2 to join in a fitness class. Out of the blue within 4 weeks it went up to £3 then it went up to £3.50 ! What percentage is this? At this rate it will be out of the price range of everyone and I am seriously thinking of not going any more. How can Harpers and Lewisham justify such a hike?
