I live in Parkside Avenue in Barnehurst and have a five-year-old boy who loves to play football and run around.
Behind our house are playing fields adjacent to Barnehust golf course.
To get to the fields we have to go down an alleyway in Holmesdale Grove, Barnehurst and through a purpose built metal entrance/exit.
Down this alleyway there is dog mess everywhere and even worse dog mess in about 100 bags discarded everywhere due to there being one dog bin.
Also we have to dodge all the mess left over the fields and woods due to lack of bins and signage.
This is a dog walking area as even the dog walkers have right of way on the golf course.
They are at the moment spending hundreds of thousands on the golf course and this needs sorting.
There is a piece of grassland in Northend Road no bigger than your garden that nobody uses and this has three dog bins.
It's a joke.
Myself and all the others in the area pay thousands in taxes a year and this needs to be addressed.
I contacted Bexley Council who said something would be done within five days.
I had to get in touch with them 10 days later and I was told it had been passed to their enviro-crime team for their urgent attention.
That was six weeks ago and nothing has been done.
