I write regarding the beheading of Philip Fairbrother's chickens (Chickens Beheaded In 'Evil Massacre' Of Pets, News Shopper, February 8).
I have kept chickens and ducks for a long time and the only time I lost any was when I forgot to lock them up.
A fox bit all the heads off. I lost a rabbit and duck in a separate pen the same way.
You need a sliding vertical door to stop him getting in. You don't need the police, you need the pest control officer Philip.
