I have concerns over new traffic-calming plans for Bickley.
Although calming was agreed for Southborough Road in 2002, little was done.
By reducing rat-running' traffic on other roads and cutting the speed limit on most of Blackbrook Lane to 20mph, delays on Southborough Road must increase.
It is shocking the council has not collected new traffic speed and volume data. Surely, it is relevant for making proposals?
I urge all interested parties to read the plans available at Southborough Lane Library.
