I have been suffering from neighbours' bonfire smoke for years.
I suffer from chemical allergies. There is no medical treatment available for this condition. I cannot use my garden when the smoke is bad.
Unfortunately, this happens mostly on summer days when we all want to enjoy the weather.
It seems wrong I should be forced to leave my house and go to London because somebody thinks he has the right to do what he wants in his garden.
I am all for freedom but freedom should be based on respect for others. At present I am still mobile. What will happen when I cannot travel any more? Where am I supposed to go?
What is needed is an organised campaign to enforce a new law. Unfortunately, people in poor health are the least capable of fighting for themselves.
