THE Government has rejected the proposed road through the park and therefore the regeneration of the area surrounding it (What Next For Centre Of Town?, News Shopper, August 2).
I object to long-established businesses leaving Dartford and buildings being boarded up, leaving them to be vandalised.
Something needs to be done quickly to encourage the remaining businessess to stay.
And a decision needs to be made quickly on all the empty properties.
