I WOULD like to complain about people spitting in the street Everywhere you go you see it. Not only are you treading in it but young children fall over and land in it.

To me this is probably the filthiest habit around.

It is the worst thing for spreading disease but people just do not care anymore.

They simply have no respect for others and do not think about how their actions can affect other pepole.

I am always telling people off for spitting in the street.

Both English and foreign people indulge in this disgusting habit.

There used to be signs up saying No Spitting and warning people they could face a £100 on-the-spot fine.

What has happened to these signs? Where have they gone?

All I can say is, if you are English you should know better.

If you are a foreign person in Britain, then please think.

You have come to our country to hope to lead a better life, so please respect our country now you are here.

Everybody should carry a tissue and dispose of their spit when they get home.

This would be much better than spitting in the street.
