WHAT a surprise to read in News Shopper (Old Pals, April 5) the letter from A K Bishops inquiring about the two mascots of Dartford Football Club.
I would like to tell him the two lads are alive and kicking. They were my brother and myself.
I do not remember Mr Bishops but I do remember Ginger Ives who used to play the banjo at half time when we walked round with the sheet collecting spare coins.
It is great to know the Darts are back in town again this season.
