I presume Laura-Jane Filotrani (Shooting From The Lip, April 26) is being deliberately provocative and I know I shouldn't, but I shall rise to the bait.
Why stop at denying smokers treatment? I could produce an enormously long list of groups of people who are in varying degrees responsible for their own helath problems.
I shall list but a few: drinkers liver problems and accidents and violence caused while under the influence of alcohol; drug takers; over-eaters obesity and the diseases that are caused by it; sexually promiscuous people STDs, abortions; those with mental health problems; participants in sports and DIY addicts.
