PALTRY INCREASE: Last month the Queen reached the grand age of 80. Like all other pensioners who reach this age, she will be rewarded by an increase in her state pension. The award amounts to the queenly sum of 25p. The increase was first introduced in the 1960s and successive Governments have failed to increase the amount. Is this any way to treat our pensioners, no matter what their station in life?

INFORMATION WANTED: I am currently researching Joyce Green Smallpox Hospital and would love to hear from anyone who used to work there. Do you have a family member buried there? Any other information would also be of interest.
