Looking through the TV guide for Christian- related programmes over Easter, I was saddened to see only one.

This was an alternative type of Easter message shown on Good Friday.

In past years there have been reflections each evening leading up to Good Friday, usually read by a well-known celebrity or person in the church.

Could it be that those in charge of scheduling programmes were worried about insulting the people of other faiths and this is why there was only a token nod to Christianity?

Great Britain is a Christian country a good many of the people who live here are Christian.

For the many who are housebound and unable to get to a church service over Easter, the television services are all they have.

Isn't it time this political correctness nonsense was finally put to rest and we are allowed to live our lives in a way which reflects our faith?

When Channel 4 shows the Hindu festival, which lasts for about a week, I have a choice I can watch it if I want to, or I can switch over to other channels.

Doesn't this same choice extend to those who are not Christians and who might not want to watch the Easter message?
