CHARGES in hospital car parks are not popular but hospital trusts have to generate income.
What is frustrating is Farnborough's Princess Royal University Hospital expects all visitors to know how long their visit will take when they pay and display.
Surely hospital administrators should appreciate a father-to-be does not know how long the labour of the mother-to-be will last.
Anxious patients do not need the added stress of worrying if they will get a parking fine.
Will the hospital administrators please introduce a system where drivers parking their cars can pay when leaving rather than on arrival.
If Marks & Spencer in Orpington can manage this, then surely the hospital trust can.
