In reply to the letter Blue Rinse Brigade, I for one should like to speak up for the so-called blue rinse brigade.
It might come as news to this person but we have not always been 65 and over.
Most of us have brought up our families in between holding down a full-time job and doing our shopping in the lunch hour.
No, we got on with our jobs without moaning about it.
I for one feel we have most certainly earned the right to a little leisurely time in our later years and be able to shop as and when we feel like it.
Who knows, with a lot of hard work and luck this person writing the letter may look back on their life and realise what a selfish person they were to write such a letter as they were now one of the brigade themselves.
