TENANTS LEFT BEHIND: Congratulations to News Shopper. You deserve an accolade for publicising the plight of the remaining 900 or so tenants on the Ferrier Estate (Master Plan Is News To Us, News Shopper, April 15). They are being left behind while homes around them are either empty or being demolished, resulting in the fear of vermin and also loneliness. It is like being thrown back into times when London was an open sewer and vermin were a common sight and shared housing with people. Greenwich Council should not have the right to cause such upheaval to people without putting in place suitable rehousing solutions, thus avoiding the situation you describe. Please keep up the good work for people who have little voice in order to protect themselves against the bureaucracy and dictatorship of Greenwich Council.
