I ATTENDED the general meeting of Bexley Care Trust on September 9 and stayed for the afternoon session.

This comprised informative large display boards, many with large print exhibits.

Each display had one or more experts available to discuss any concerns and clarify information on show with individuals.

I was particularly interested in the information on sexual advice available for teenagers and the Bridging/Virtual Ward scheme, where multi-disciplinary teams offer treatment to ex-patients in their own homes.

I also found information on the Improved Service for Bexley Stroke Patients very interesting.

A pack containing excellent, easily understood information mostly in large easily-read print, was available to everyone attending.

I was told that packs are available to anyone from the Bexley Care Trust offices.

Having injured my foot recently, I have attended the urgent care centre on two occasions and was in and out again in record time. Excellent service.
