Letter to the editor: I was shocked to read about Babestation star Rachel Hobbs getting insulted at a Toby Carvery in your story on the front page of the New Shopper (Bare-faced cheek, January 14).

What she decides to do for a living is her business and really has nothing to do with anyone else.

I feel the waitress was rather unprofessional when doing her job, and has no business passing judgement on her customers.

At the end of the day, Rachel was a paying customer who had only gone there to celebrate her 21st birthday with her family.

It really does seem very unfair to my mind that she been treated in such a way. After all, she is a grown woman and it is entirely up to her to decide what she wants to do for a living.

I just feel that, regardless to what people do for a living, when they come in to a restaurant for a meal as a paying customer they do deserve some respect, not to be judged.

Waitresses like her need to keep their opinions to themselves and learn not to air them at work. At the end of the day, that waitress needs to realise that Rachel’s custom pays her wages.
