Pond plight at the Tarn in Mottingham
Letter to the editor: Thank you so much to News Shopper for highlighting the plight of the ducks in the tarn (Polluted lakes killing ducks, August 27). My friend and I were devastated and powerless to watch a duck dying in front of our very eyes.
He was obviously a partner of the dead duck lying beside him. How cruel.
The Friends of the Tarn group is doing a grand job in the park and we do hope something will now be done to rectify this problem.
