Letter to the editor: All are aware that it is an offence to spread litter in Bexley’s parks and open spaces.
A new menace has arisen, however.
Some irresponsible dog owners have developed the unpleasant habit of using the parks as outdoor dog parlours by grooming their canines and leaving rolls of dog hair to contaminate the environment. Responsible owners take their animals to a proper parlour, or at least have the decency to do the grooming at home.
Thus letting others enjoy a more pleasant visit to the park.
Please do not try to groom your pets on the cheap at the expense, comfort and safety of Bexley residents.
Paul Kelliher, Abbey Wood
