It wasn’t only a surprise to the Fast and Furious team, but also for us… We have all lost our favourite star from Fast and Furious. Heartbroken by Paul Walkers sudden death had led to a pause in Fast and Furious 7. Paul Walker has played Brian O’Conner in all but one of the Fast and Furious films. He has certainly robbed all the hearts of Fast and Furious fans, as it was declared that according to a statistical poll, billions of people searched up his death-in a week as well. How can we ever forget him?
The script has been “drastically altered” since the death of Walker. He was killed in car crash-when a Porshe driven by a friend hit a pole in Calinfornia. It was stated that the car has been travelling at an “unsafe speed” when it crashed in Valencia, during a break from filming. The driver (Walker’s friend) also died. However, this dangerous driving was not because of the intake of drugs or alcohol.
After his death Universal has put the filming of Fast and Furious 7 on a hold. The director, James Wan, announce the new release date in December (which is on April 10, 2015), and also implied the fact that Walker will appear in the film. Nevertheless, it is not yet known of how the death of Walker, 40, will be dealt with on the screen.
This week the director has posted a photo from the set on Instagram saying “First day back filming. Better and stronger.”
New York Daily News reports has claimed that body doubles and CGI faces will be used in order to complete the filming-nonetheless this has not been confirmed by Universal.
