Letter to the editor: My 90-year-old mother-in-law was taken ill in The Glades, Bromley, on May 31.
Two off-duty nurses helped, as did the security staff from The Glades.
All were very kind, helpful and efficient and reassuring.
She was attended to by paramedics and transferred to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.
The care and attention she received was greatly appreciated and it was provided promptly, even though they were clearly busy.
We did not get the names of all the people involved but we wanted to express our appreciation for the warmth and spontaneous help.
My mother-in-law is back at home now and is enormously grateful to those who came to her assistance.
