Letter to the editor: At A time when hospitals are receiving bad press, I feel I have to write to say thanks to the fantastic maternity department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
Sadly, my daughter had a stillborn baby there.
The care and support she and her partner received was the best.
All the midwives, staff and doctors were so caring and supportive at this very difficult and devastating time.
The staff were also supportive and caring to us.
The midwives were with my daughter and her partner all the time, even though it was busy.
The ward was very clean and the staff there were available 24/7 for support and to answer all our questions.
Both families were able to stay with them throughout this difficult time. With all the kind care and support my daughter and her partner received they were able to cope and wish to thank all the staff.
