Letter to the editor: A big thank you to News Shopper for getting to the bottom of the god-awful noise which kept us all awake at night a few weeks ago (Extreme Noise Terror, News Shopper, March 20).
Everyone in my neighbourhood was talking about it the next morning.
It sounded like nails scrapping down a chalkboard and even when the clanging stopped I could still feel it ringing in my head and ears.
It drove my dog absolutely crazy and he hasn’t been the same since.
From what I read in News Shopper, it sounds like everyone was trying to shift the blame onto everyone else but I’m glad you solved the mystery.
