Erith and District Swimming Club (EDSC) were crowned Champions of the White Horse League 2017. This is the first time in ten years that the Club has won the title. The League consists of 4 rounds held between March and July each year, and the Club completed a clean sweep of victories resulting in being crowned Champions of the League. EDSC had a mixed team of swimmers aged between 10 and 18 who put on a fantastic display of swimming. The team improved with each round, gaining in confidence and fighting hard for every point. Thanks to all their hard training and the coaches' direction, many PB's were smashed.

In the final round last weekend, individual wins came from James Sproston, Rory Ghatauray, Daniel Wilding, Megan Cave, Maddie Lee, Connor Parker and James Vick. Relay wins came from John Enright, James Sproston, Daniel Wilding, Rory Ghatauray, Lara Seager, Abbey Retour, Megan Cave, Megan Parker, Ben Wilding, Connor Parker, Jerrah Bojang, Fred Corder, Anna Fastiggi, Madison Retour and Ruby Verge.
