Wren Sharrock from Beckenham is seven-years-old and like lots of little girls has been growing her hair since she was very little. Usually though, she has been measuring it every few months since she was four, desperate to get to right length to be able to chop it all off! This week she finally reached the magic number, and cut off all her hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust. This brilliant charity provides real-hair wigs, free of charge to boys and girls throughout the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Wren is very proud to have been able to donate her hair, and to do some brilliant fundraising too. Jane Beedle from The Great British Bake Off even dropped in some cakes for Wren when she heard what she was up to. It was a brilliant event, and Wren loves her new 'do'.
